Dimcook is Hong Kong’s recipe sharing and cooking knowledge platform that brings together foodies and cookery lovers alike to promote a culture of simple, healthy, and creative cooking. We are on a mission to preserve the art of traditional Chinese cooking while exploring new fusions and creations.
Why “Dim”? English speakers may be familiar with the Chinese delicacies known as “dim sum”. The same written character also means “how-to” in Cantonese, the dialect of Chinese spoken in Hong Kong and many overseas Chinese communities. Dimcook therefore literally means “how to cook” – the very question that inspires our daily work.
